At ALCA, your privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it, and your rights.
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our services: your email address and display name when you create an account, and your license keys when you make a purchase.
We do not collect telemetry, usage analytics from our desktop apps, or any information about the files you encrypt, store, or process.
ALCA desktop apps are designed to work locally on your device. Web apps process data securely in the browser when possible.
Desktop apps use local AES-256 encryption. Web apps use modern browser encryption standards.
All payments are processed through the Microsoft Store, Apple App Store, or Google Play Store, or directly through our secure payment provider. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card details.
Each store platform handles billing, invoicing, and tax compliance. Their respective privacy policies govern the payment data they collect.
We use Plausible Analytics for our website — a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool that is fully GDPR compliant.
Plausible collects no personal data, uses no cookies, and all data is aggregated. We see page views and referrers, not individual visitors.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
You can exercise most of these rights directly from your dashboard settings. For any request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
For any privacy-related questions, data requests, or concerns, reach out to us at:
